University of Ibadan VC attends son's convocation in the US few days before closing down the institution.(photo)

Few days ago, the news that, the Vice Chancellor of the University of Ibadan, Professor Abel Idowu Olayinka, ordered the shut down of the institution after the students involved in a protest thereby shifting the date for the commencement of their exams to July 17.
Prior to this, the VC was alleged to have gone for his son's convocation ceremony in the US few days before shutting down the school.

Tragedy as gunmen shot dead a man

In Kaduna state, some gunmen were suspected to have killed a man named, Christopher Joseph, aged 27 years old. The deceased body was said to have been found in Abuja-Kaduna expressway, having his hands and legs tied down. An interview with the deceased father shows that he spoke with his son last on 25th of March. He added that, they had no quarrel what so ever during their conversation. Former aviation minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode has described the minister of transport, Rotimi Amaechi as a serial traitor. Fani-Kayode's comment was contained in a statement by his media aide, Jude Ndukwe.
