The Ekiti State Governor, Ayodele Fayose, has on Friday in Ado Ekiti, said he would become the next president of Nigeria. The governor, a member of the Peoples Democratic Party, said that he had the attributes to wrestle power from the President Muhammadu Buhari-led All Progressives Congress in 2019. In respect to The PUNCH , he also said that former governors Segun Oni and Kayode Fayemi would fail if they attempted to contest the 2018 governorship election in the Ekiti state. From his words, he declared that, neither of the two performed to an admirable level that Ekiti people would think to give them a second chance like he was given. The Lagos State Government on Thursday, 15th June announced the opening of its website to register intending applicants for the 2017 edition of Ready.Set.Work (RSW) scheme. RSW is an entrepreneurship and employability initiative designed to equip final year students of tertiary institutions in the State with the right skills to add value to the society. Mr Obafela Bank-Olemoh,  Special Adviser to Governor Akinwunmi Ambode on Education, disclosed this at a news conference. Further adding that, interested applicants would be able to access the website  via www.readysetwork.com.ng from June 16, while the training will run from July 1 to September 16, 2017. He made it known that, as an improvement on the initiative which started in 2016, students of six tertiary institutions in the State would benefit, while three centres have been designated to host the training. The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors are right now meeting in Abuja. The meeting which is being held  at Ekiti Lodge, Asokoro is being hosted by Chairman of the forum and Ekiti State governor, Ayo Fayose. Present at the meeting include: Udom Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom) Seriake Dickson (Bayelsa) Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe), Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) and Ebitemi Banigo (Deputy Governor, Rivers). Osun and Oyo, the owner state governments of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH, Ogbomoso have made their earlier position known , in which they demanded an external forensic audit of the institution, so as to defuse and proffer lasting solution to the incessant crisis that had been affecting the institution, has been justified based on the visitation panel’s report. According to the visitation panel's report, they detected 97 different bank accounts in almost all the commercial banks in the country being operated as against the directive of the Treasury Single Account (TSA) policy specifically put in place to promote transparency.
