A 42-year-old  man and father of 6, Babangida Garba, has been arrested for reportedly having sex with a goat. The said man was arrested at Funtua Local government area of Katsina State where he was paraded along side other suspects for various criminal offences by the state Commissioner of Police, CP Usman Abdullahi in the police headquarters on Thursday, 22nd June. Vanguard reported that Garba who confessed to the offence, upon interrogation, explained that, his wife usually starve him of sex. The incident happened in Ungwar Mata, Funtua local government area. Meanwhile, Garba was said to have had carnal intercourse with the goat belonging to his neighbor.

The river state governor, Nyesom Wike has reportedly sacked his Commissioner of Works, Mr Bathuel Harrison with immediate effect. According to the statement in a press released by the media aide on electronics to the governor , Mr Simeon Nwakaudu, it reads: “Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike has relieved the State Commissioner of Works, Mr Bathuel Harrison of his appointment with immediate effect. The former commissioner has been directed to hand over to the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Works”. Meanwhile, report has it that, this is the second Commissioner of Works ever since the governor came on board. In addition, Mr Nwakaudu in his statement did not give any reason for the sack of the commissioner.

Rashidi Ladoja, a former Oyo State governor as at yesterday, 21st of June, donated N 5 . 8 m to the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso. The former governor made the donation through an initiative by former students of LAUTECH, tagged  "fundLAUTECH". The aim of this initiative is at raising N1 bn to assist the university surmount its financial challenges. The governor received the alumni members in Ibadan while he made an instant donation of N 2 m and promised to also donate six months of his pension to the effort. In sum, Ladoja would be donating a total amount of N5 ,840 ,000. His pension, as stated, is N 644 , 589 .15 per month . Prior to this, eight lawmakers in the Oyo State House of Assembly , who are members of the Accord Party , also promised a donation of N 1 , 000 , 000 to the school. Adebimpe graduated from the Rutgers University-Newark USA, topping the 2017 Graduating set with a First Class in Information System. Before I knew it, the groundnut bottle on the dinning table got my attention, I picked it up and summoned all the courage I have. Its being four days now since Lawrence left, I never ceased to forget him in my prayers, you sure do know I want him to get the job. The sound of my phone ringing woke me. It was Lawrence, I told him how I thought about him all through the night, of cause it was him I dreamt of. Lawrence further told me that , the screening process will be over the next day. I was happy as I can't wait to see him. "I love you" Lawrence said. "I love you more" I replied. After a long day at work, I was so stressed out. Kimmie should be back home, I thought. Kimmie was not home as expected so I dashed into the kitchen to prepare something for us to eat, thinking she would soon be back but she didn't show up. I started getting worried, I tried her number but to no avail.

Lawrence called me the next morning that he will be leaving for Kaduna. I pleaded with him that we should see before he leaves but he said he had to go so as to get there on time. He will be away for a week. I tried as much as possible not to miss him too much even though we talk every day and so In oder to while away time, I stayed over at my friend's house everyday after work. Although Kimmie and I had been friends since we were little but they had to travel out of the country. I ran into Kimmie during one of those days I went for shopping and ever since then, we became friends like before. I told Kimmie about my boyfriend Lawrence and I just can't wait for her to meet him.

As for me, I wanted to further my education by going for a masters program in Mass communication, I really wanted to work for a media company. On the other hand, Lawrence had this dream of working with an automobile company for a while before he set up his own company. We were so much interested in pursuing our goals together. Things just seems to go on smoothly for us. Lawrence's uncle works for Diamond media cooperation, he helped to liaise with him which got me a job in no time. Finally I felt what it is like to be living out your dream. Lawrence's application to various companies of his dream was not working out, he got frustrated over this but I assured him things will be fine. Few weeks later, he had this mail from a company he never applied to, at first I thought it was a scam and I never wanted him to go for it, but he was so much more interested in his dream that I couldn't stop him.

Lawrence and I just concluded our youth service, though we served in different States, Lawrence served in Sokoto State while I served in Benue State. Despite the distance, we never seized to be us. Though we had our bad days but the light never seized to shine again. It was like hell cause we never got to see each other throughout the period. But i had this feeling that i was really meant for him and he for me, i knew that the very first day i met him, the memory always linger. I actually met Lawrence during my first year then in school. You know the feeling, when you fall in love with someone and convinced you are met for each other. I can still remember the very day Lawrence left for Sokoto, I felt like he was leaving my life, different thought filled my mind. The thought of something happening to us, the thought of Lawrence falling in love with someone else and all sort of different thoughts. But none of these happened which made me so much happy.
