Julie Okah-Donli, Director-General of the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking (NAPTIP) gave a report yesterday in lagos that, a sum of 5,500 Nigerians will be deported from Mali and Libya for different migration offences which include: human trafficking, non possession of valid travel documents, smuggling of migrants etc. The first batch of 250 Nigerians from Libya will arrive the country today. Another batch of 250 Nigerians will also be deported from the same country by next week. Furthermore, she added that, 5000 Nigerians are mainly victims of human trafficking, were awaiting evacuation back home from Mali. She went further to describe the trend of deportation of Nigerians from different parts of the world in recent time as frightening, therefore calling for the need to change things by providing an attractive environment that would keep people gainfully employed in the country. It was reported yesterday that the senate reacted to the letter written by president Muhammadu Buhari by appointing the vice president, professor Yemi Osinbajo as "The Coordinator". In addition to this, Ebun Olu Adegboruwa, a human rights lawyer, shared his opinion, claiming that, the president has committed an impeachable offence and should be impeached, by appointing Osinbajo as a coordinator. He made this known on Wednesday, May 10. He further added, the Nigeria constitutionally created office of Acting President has been limited because the president is away on an indefinite medical trip abroad. Prior to the news that went viral yesterday about one Abuja based fashion model and stylist, Boston Roland who accused Mercy Aigbe of cheating with him, swearing to release pictures if she does not cooperate. Boston further reacted to this by claiming his account was hacked and that he had never met with mercy in reality before. The battle continues as Lanre Gentry, the supposed husband of Nollywood actress, Mercy Aigbe, has been sent to the Kirikiri Prison in Lagos. This was after Gentry’s arraignment before an Ikeja Magistrate Court for alleged battering of Aigbe. He was taken before the court by the Lagos State Government. Among the bail conditions, which Gentry could not immediately meet, was producing two sureties in the sum of N500,000 each. The  sureties must also show proof of tax payment and own houses in Lagos with title documents. By the time Gentry got the sureties, the presiding magistrate was said to have closed for the day. Mrs Yewande Aje-Afunwa, at Ogba Chief Magistrate’s Court in Lagos, therefore ordered Gentry to remain in prison custody until his bail is perfected. The senate, yesterday May 9 has confirmed President Muhammadu Buhari's letter telling them of his trip to London for medical checkup. The senate president, Senator Bukola Saraki, has read the letter dated May 5, 2017, to the house. The written letter is in accordance with Section 145(1) of the 1999 Constitution. The letter connotes; “In compliance with section 145 (1) of the 1999 Constitution as amended, I wish to inform the Distinguished Senate that I will be away for a scheduled medical follow-up with my doctors in London. “ The length of my stay will be determined by the doctor’s advice. “While I am away, the Vice President will coordinate the activities of the government. Prof. Yemi Osinbajo, the current acting president said on monday, 8 of May that president Buhari made it known that the release of the 82 Chibok girls increased his health. He further added that, the current generations of leader should try all possible to resolve the humanitarian crises in the North East. "Government would re-strategise with all the agencies involved in the rehabilitation of victims of insurgency in order to address their most urgent needs" he added. He concluded by saying, it is of more importance if government do not get carried away while thinking of how to provide for people but they should rather be concerned that people don't die while planning to provide for them.

The Akenfa Police station has arrested a 25 years old man, known as Thank God Owei for stealing two parcels of vanguard news paper meant for circulation on Tuesday. After the suspect successfully stole the newspaper, he hurried to a vendor to sell them. The vendor sensed the newspapers to have been stolen by the man, after which he started making contact with Vanguard sales representative in Bayelsa State, Mr Duke Oyintobara who got to the spot immediately. Mr Duke confirmed the stolen papers after which the man was given the beating of his life by passerby that got their attention. He further confessed and pleaded for mercy. In his words, he explained how things was for him. He stated: “I lost my wife four months ago during child birth but I have one child, since the death of my wife life has been so hard on me, please forgive me, I cannot deny it, I stole the parcels.”

Relationships nowadays is showing a turn around, as different issues comes between lovers leaving one broken. An incident occurred few weeks ago, April 30 precisely, a guy named Khari Adeyemi expressed himself on his facebook handle on how one of his friend brokeup with his girlfriend after he got a new job. A formal announcement was made yesterday by the family of late Chief Anthony Enahoro, ( Nigeria foremost nationalist and political icon) the announcement confirmed the death of Mr. Kenneth Enahoro, the first son of late Chief Anthony Enahoro. Late Mr. Kenneth died at the age of 63 on Sunday, in Benin city. His remains was deposited at a morgue in Benin. His younger brother, Mr. Eugene Enahoro, informed the newsmen that, his brother's death was unfortunate and added that, his brother lived a fulfilled life while still alive and dismissed foul play over his death. In her post, she revealed that, they were supposed to appear in court today but lanre didn't show up with the claim that he was on admission. She further explained that, she is a victim of domestic violence and she needed to say this out. Mercy went further to change her instagram handle to @realmercyaigbe which was formerly @mercyaigbegentry. She also removed his name from all social media accounts.

The arrest of a 14 years old girl has been confirmed by the Ondo State Police for attempted poisoning of her guardian's food in Ondo state. The girl was identified as Mary. Report shows that, the said girl added rat poison to her guardian's meal, which he, Alhaji Nasiru Akinlosotu discovered on time before it got out of hand. Upon asking why she did she act, she said, the guardian always maltreat her, that was why she did what she did. The source made it known that, during the period mary was cooking beans for her guardian she sprinkled some rat poison to the food. Ahalji Nasiru discovered some unusual smell from the beans after eating little from it and asked Mary how rat poison got to the food. President Muhammadu Buhari as gone for another medical checkup to London, United State. The president left yesterday's night to meet up with his doctors for appropriate checkup. This is not the first time Buhari will be traveling out for proper checkup, as he once went for one January which he returned march, spending 51 days in London. He went last year June to check on ear infection. Mr. Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President, made it known that, the period Buhari will use abroad will be determined by his doctors.
