Bridge linking Oyo and Osun State collapses

Prior to the heavy downpour that happened yesterday, the bridge linking Iwo, in Osun State and Oyo, in Oyo State was washed away. The bridge broke down at the Idi-Iroko which has currently turned the journey of about 45 kilometres to almost 80 kilometres as motorists now go through Agoro, Lannite and kieseni road. Honourable Akintayo Gafar Amere , the Honourable Representing Iwo Federal Constituency at the National Assembly Abuja as at yesterday visited the place to commiserate with the people. While the honourable was addressing the people, he assured them that, he would bring the attention of the relevant government agencies to the plight of the people plying the road which he described as Federal Road. Meanwhile, some daring people living around the villages now have to carry their various motorcycle to cross the water and they said that it would not be easy to travel almost thirty kilometres to get to their destinations instead of just crossing the bridge. "I am Alive". Singer Don Moen speaks on death rumour

An America website earlier reported the death of popular American gospel musician, Don Moen. Whereas, the singer as however on Wednesday, in a simple twit on his twitter handle dispelled the speculation, claiming that he is alive. In the said tweet, the singer had uploaded a family photo of himself, his father, his own son and two of his grandchildren reportedly taken today. Meanwhile, the whole world was thrown into shock when the America platform. reported that the gospel singer cum evangelist died after a short battle with stomach pain. On Sunday, 9th July, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced Mr Ademola Adeleke of the PDP as the winner of the Osun West Senatorial bye- election. The winner happens to be the younger brother of the late Sen. Isiaka Adeleke, who died earlier this year. Reports from The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) shows that, the election was held in 10 local government areas making up the district. Mr. Ademola Adeleke had 97, 480 votes to defeat a former senator, Mudashiru Hussein of the APC, who had 66, 116 votes. The result was announced in Iwo, the Osun West Senatorial headquarters, where Mr Baritor Kpagih, INEC Residential Electoral Commissioner for the bye-election, said Adeleke won nine out of the 10 local government areas where the election was held. This therefore  returned Adeleke as senator to complete the tenure of his late brother who died on April 23. Pastor Enoch Adeboye lay curse on Badoo and other cult groups

The Redeemed Christian Church's pastor, Pastor Enoch Adeboye who spoke at the church's monthly Holy Ghost Service at the new Arena, reportedly laid a curse on Kidnappers and dreaded cult group, badoo, as well as other criminals killing innocent Nigerians. According to the great man of God: “My Father, send down your fire on all every society or cult groups shedding blood of innocent Nigerians. “Send down Your fire upon every person or organisation that are making life difficult for the common people of the nation.
