BREAKING: PDP Governors hold meeting in Abuja

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governors
are right now meeting in Abuja.

The meeting which is being held  at Ekiti
Lodge, Asokoro is being hosted by Chairman
of the forum and Ekiti State governor, Ayo
Fayose.

Present at the meeting include:
Udom
Emmanuel (Akwa Ibom)
Seriake Dickson
(Bayelsa)
Ibrahim Dankwambo (Gombe),
Ifeanyi Okowa (Delta) and Ebitemi Banigo
(Deputy Governor, Rivers).

Other dignitaries  are Minority Leader,
House of
Representatives, Leo Ogor. Former Abia State
governor, Senator Theophilus Orji
Former
ministers, Prof Jerry Gana, Zainab Maina and
Inna Ciroma.

The meeting is reportedly held to deliberate on the ongoing
leadership crisis and the impending Supreme
Court judgement on the case between the
"Senator Ahmed Makarfi-led National
Caretaker Committee (NCC) and the National
Working Committee (NWC) led by Senator Ali
Sheriff"

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has asked questions about the authenticity of the cash recently seized by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). According to the main opposition party, anti-corruption fight under the President Muhammadu Buhari government has become comedy. The PDP wonders why EFCC now discovers funds in apartments and offices that have no owners. Ex-Kogi state governor cries out over plot to kill him

Former governor of Kogi state and All Progressive Congress (APC) chieftain cried out on Wednesday April 13, over what he referred to as continuous attempt to end his life by unknown people. Olafemi alleged that some people have contracted assassins to attack him and put an end to his life and he believed his life is now in grave danger. It was learnt that Olafemi said the attempts on his life started after he wrote an open letter to President Muhammadu Buhari and Governor Yahaya Bello earlier this year.
