2017 budget was not found in Goje's resident, police denies

Prior to the search carried out by the Nigeria Police Force, yesterday, 26 April, at senator Danjuma Goje's resident, which is located at No. 10 Haile
Salasie Street, Asokoro District, Abuja.
Few of his relatives were reported to have taken the policemen round the house to carry out their search, among them was, Ango Usman,
his house keeper.
The police force reported to have found some items in the said senator's apartment. The found items include:

1, 38 files and 6 envelopes which
contains  documents. Details of the document include :
a, File on Gombe state Government of
Nigeria cash inflow (2005)

b, File on funds spent on security
administration and information
gathering(2009)
c, File on release of funds for special
operations (2009)

d, file which contains write-ups on how
Governor Shekarau plotted the
assassination of Sheikh Jafaru
e, File on Project on  Executive Briefs
on how to fight opposition in Gombe
state
f, Envelopes containing permit to
operate as an Oil Industry Service
Company 2011

g, Letters from Alhaji Mohammed
Danjuma Goje to
the MD LUBELL Nigeria Ltd of proposed
residential Devt at Kashere Phase II
dated 16th january 2007. 19th September, 2010.

2. The sum of Nineteen Thousand Eight
Hundred and Fifty (19,850 US Dollars)

3. The sum of Eighteen Million and
Fifty Six Thousand Naira (₦18,056,000)

4. The sum of Nine Thousand Four
Hundred (SR9, 400) Saudi Riyal

In order to avoid misleading people, the police said that,
reports which claims that 2017 budget
document were taken away from the
senators house during a search
operation is false. And that no single document was found relating to the 2017 budget.
