Bauchi state governor's wife steps in to save premature babies born by a young girl
Following the report made about
Huzaifatu, the young girl who gave
birth to quadruplets in Bauchi, Hajiya
Hadiza Mohammed Abubakar, the wife
of Bauchi state governor, has stepped in
to take care of the expenses and upkeep.
Huzaifatu’s case finally got to Hajiya
Hadiza Abubakar on Monday, April 10.
The wife of the governor stepped in
immediately to provide succor and
comfort to the nursing mother who was
in dire need of financial assistance for
her children to live.
The wife of the governor sent a team to
the medical center as soon as she could.
The team was headed by the wife of the
caretaker chairman of Katagum local
government area of the state who was
meant to check the state of the babies
and the mother.
Two of the babies as they were laid in the
incubator.
It was gathered that three out of the
premature baby girls born by the young
girl did not make it. Management of the
Federal Medical Center Azare confirmed
this to the team.

Hajiya Hadiza would be visiting the
family of the young girl to commiserate
with them and to see the condition of
the young mother and the surviving
baby. The governor’s wife gave orders
to the medical center as she asked them
to do their best possible in ensuring the
survival of the baby left.
On this note,she took over the medical
expenses incurred by the young mother.
