Building Self Confidence

We really need confidence to achieve enough in this life. We need that spark to help us keep going, to face anything that comes our way and even over come obstacles.
But, majority tends to misinterpret the word confidence, some sees it as, that thing that gives you the assurance that you will always be accepted and loved in any thing you do or in any thing you offer people. Though it is also part of it. But, this is the question, what if things turns around the other way round? What if you were not accepted? What if what u had to offer looks like trash to people?
We can't avoid these things obviously.
Then this got me to know this, "confidence is not they will like me, it is I will be fine if they don't".

Tragedy as gunmen shot dead a man

In Kaduna state, some gunmen were suspected to have killed a man named, Christopher Joseph, aged 27 years old. The deceased body was said to have been found in Abuja-Kaduna expressway, having his hands and legs tied down. An interview with the deceased father shows that he spoke with his son last on 25th of March. He added that, they had no quarrel what so ever during their conversation. He further said, he didn't know that would be the last time he would converse with his son. Late Christopher was said to have been seeking for admission into the Ahmadu Bello Institution. (ABU). Before his death, he was into commercial motorcycle job. When the police station was visited by his family members, they informed them about what happened. As she turns a year older, Sola is grateful for life and many other things including the controversy of having a child for super star, Wizkid Sola who is now a happy woman, said to be engaged to a mysterious lover shared her joy with fans as she celebrates her 26th birthday in good health and happiness. POLICE: No plot to kill Wike, he has 221 policemen guarding him

The Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has denied ever plotting to kill the governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike. The denial comes on the heel of reports that the governor had alleged that there were plans to eliminate him based on the orders of the Inspector General of Police, IGP, Ibrahim Idris. Fani-Kayode blasts Buhari for giving three key posts to Hausa- Fulanis in one day

A former Minister of Aviation, Femi Fani-Kayode, has slammed President Muhammadu Buhari for using his government to favour his northern kinsmen. It was gathered that Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), wondered why Buhari decided to appoint northerners as Acting Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Acting Director General of National Intelligent Agency as well as MD of NEXIM Bank. Few days after the funeral of Mojisola Olaiya, her brother released a statement, Thankful to everyone who supported the family of Moji Olaiya in one way or the other. CSO, expels punch reporter from presidency villa

The chief security officer, (CSO), to President Muhammadu Buhari, Abubakar Bashir has expelled the Punch correspondent, Mr. Lekan Adetayo, assigned  to cover the presidential villa, Abuja, as at yesterday. Correspondent lekan was driven out of the villa, due to the fact that, he wrote a story about the health state of president Buhari, which was seen as injurious to the presidency. But the Presidency has not said anything concerning the action of the president’s CSO. The Punch had, on Sunday, published a story with a headline, ‘Fresh anxiety in Aso Rock over Buhari’s health’. Doctor charged to court for allegedly raping his patient.

A medical doctor, Philemon Brazil, has been sent back to custody today, 28th of April, at the upper court, Pankshin in Plateau. The accused was laid with the accusation of raping his patient, whose name is undisclosed, in her house on the 25th of April. On the other hand, Brazil pleaded not guilty of the allegation. The judgement passed by Mr Joseph Chollom, ordered him to be returned back to custody, therefore adjourned the case till the 22 of may. His Prosecutor, Sgt. Singbon Hosea, further inform the court that, the rape victim had history of miscarriages and had been a patient of the doctor before the incident.
