Man drove out of the plane, on his quest to use the bathroom
Reports shows that, a man, Hamilton by name was kicked from a Delta Air
Lines (America) flight earlier this month after
he insisted on going to the bathroom
as the plane was waiting to takeoff.
Hamilton had inform the Milwaukee Journal
Sentinel he had to pee as the plane
sat on the tarmac waiting to take off.
He was thereby informed by
a flight attendant that, the plane
would lose its takeoff spot if he
relieved himself. He further made it known in his speech, by saying:
"I don't normally pee right before I
get on the plane, and I've never had a
problem like this before.
He added that he can not recollect himself
drinking an abnormal amount of
water.”
Throughout this period, the wait was becoming so intense that
he couldn’t handle it anymore.
After which the pilot made it known to the people inside the plane that they have to return to the gate to remove a passenger.
Hamilton was humiliated by this, as he expressed in his speech:
"It escalated to that
point that fast.”
Two Delta agents were seen
Trying to get Hamilton off the
flight.
Meanwhile, his main concern was getting back to
Milwaukee where he works as an artist in
residence at a school and was due to
go on a fieldtrip the next morning,
according to the Journal Sentinel.
Delta refunded his flight, and
Hamilton said he had to pay three times the
returned amount for a Southwest
Airlines trip back to Milwaukee.
The airline thereby made it known that,
instructions have to be taken
seriously, to ensure the safety of costumers.
Hamilton therefore promise not to take the Delta airline again, as seen in his speech:
“My take-away from this experience
is that I will not be flying Delta
again. He further lamented on why he should be treated that way, as he has been waiting in the flight for hours.
