Meet beautiful undergraduate who hawks groundnut and banana to pay her school fees (photos)
It seems like more and more Nigerian
youth have realised that hard work pays.
Most ladies these days prefer to be
independent rather than depend on others
to help them survive.
A hardworking undergraduate student,
Vivian Okpara, who hawks groundnut
and banana to see herself through
school has gone viral on social media
after she was seen selling in school
premises.
The young lady who is a Theology
student at the National Open University
of Nigeria, Ibadan campus was seen
selling at her usual spot.
She expressed that she has been
hawking for her mother since she was
in secondary school. Okpara added that
she continued the trade even after she
entered university in 2013.
Okpara who sells groundnut, coconut,
banana and oranges, explained that she
goes for lectures three times a week and
later comes to her usual spot to sell to
students on campus.
The Enugu-born lady, who is in her
final year expressed that she would like
to open a big fruits store, where she can
sell to customers.
