Single mum threatens to give her son away just to get herself a man

A Kenyan mother of one has courted
controversy after asking God to take her
son's life in order for her to get
married.
The woman lamented that all the
potential men she ended up meeting ran
away every time she mentioned that she
is a single mum.

Having neither a job nor family to run
to, when the going got tough, the
woman who said that she is often caught
between a rock and a hard place,
explained that Kenyan men only marry
a woman who is single and has no kids.
That, if they marry a single mum, they
would ultimately leave her for a
younger, single woman.

It is not the first time that a mum has
spilled her troubles as a single mum
online, as in 2016, a woman threatened
to kill her daughter , saying that she
wanted to get married and her daughter
was holding her back.
