14 years old girl in police custody for attempted poisoning of guardian's food

The arrest of a 14 years old girl has been confirmed by the Ondo State Police for attempted poisoning of her guardian's food in Ondo state.
The girl was identified as Mary.
Report shows that, the said girl added rat poison to her guardian's meal, which he, Alhaji Nasiru Akinlosotu discovered on time before it got out of hand.
Upon asking why she did she act, she said, the guardian always maltreat her, that was why she did what she did.
The source made it known that, during the period mary was cooking beans for her guardian she sprinkled some rat poison to the food.
Ahalji Nasiru discovered some unusual smell from the beans after eating little from it and asked Mary how rat poison got to the food.
It was later discovered mary poisoned only her guardian's beans without adding anything to the other family members own.
After been interrogated, mary confessed adding rat poison to his food claiming that, he corrects and complains about her too much.

wife, Sikiratu, who reported the incident to
the police at Yaba police station, as she
Brought the poisoned food as prove.
