Edo State: Enahoro's son, Kenneth dies at 63.

A formal announcement was made yesterday by the family of late Chief Anthony Enahoro, ( Nigeria foremost nationalist and political icon) the announcement confirmed the death of Mr. Kenneth Enahoro, the first son of late Chief Anthony Enahoro.
Late Mr. Kenneth died at the age of 63 on Sunday, in Benin city.
His remains was deposited at a
morgue in Benin.
His younger brother, Mr. Eugene Enahoro, informed the newsmen that, his brother's death was unfortunate and added that, his brother lived a fulfilled life while still alive and dismissed foul play over his death.
He further added that, late Mr. Kenneth, was survived with 2 children who are already graduates.
According to him, he said Late Kenneth involved in politics behind the scene. Adding to this, he said, that would be the third loss they would record this year.

"It is only God that knows how long we would live, all I know is that, he was my very good friend and he lived a fruitful life" he added.

Mr Eugene also said, the unfortunate thing is that, his brother did not get to see his grandchildren as his first daughter is due for marriage this year, he was only looking forward to seeing his grandchild, unlike himself who has seen his grandchildren.
In conclusion, he said he believes in reincarnation, with the hope that, when his daughter marries and gives birth, his brother may be back again.

Unidentified man pays N42m tithe to a local church in Benue

A man whose identity has been shielded by a local church in Makurdi, has shocked church members with a tithe offering of N42 million. Investigations by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi revealed that the money was paid into the UBA account of the NKST Church High level Makurdi Although the resident pastor of the church, Dr. Frederick Ikyaan, initially denied knowledge of such offering, a copy of the church’s quarterly financial report, covering the months of January – March, confirmed the payment of N42million tithe to the church. The report showed that the lodgement was the highest single offering from an individual for the quarter. The money was paid into the church’s account in January. The breakdown of the church’s financial report showed an income of N56.2 million and an expenditure of N33.7 million within the same period.. Tragedy as gunmen shot dead a man

In Kaduna state, some gunmen were suspected to have killed a man named, Christopher Joseph, aged 27 years old. The deceased body was said to have been found in Abuja-Kaduna expressway, having his hands and legs tied down. An interview with the deceased father shows that he spoke with his son last on 25th of March. He added that, they had no quarrel what so ever during their conversation. Breaking: Angry mob scatters Senator Adeleke's Burial

An angry mob has reportedly disrupt the burial of Senator Isiaka Adeleke which is currently ongoing today, April 24, in Osun state. The mob reportedly collapsed a canopy on Amosun, Akeredolu, Oyinlola to chase out Idiat Babalola, who is a commissioner nominee of Governor Rauf Aregbesola. The death on Adeleke, was formally anounced, who is also a former governor of Osun state on Sunday, April 24. Prior to the recent protest by the students of Ladoke Akuntola University of Technology(LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, the Osun state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola made it known on Friday night that, his administration was financially incapacitated to handle the challenges of funding bedevilling the institution. Gowon expresses disappointment over Nigeria's disunity

Former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, has expressed regret over the crises going on in some parts of the country saying he had prayed the country would be united after the Biafra civil war. Gowon was head of state when the country engaged in a civil war between 1967 and 1970 and said he had hoped the country would be more united.
