If not for Buhari, Nigeria would have gone bankrupt- Chief Henry Ajomale
The chairman of the Lagos State chapter of the All Progressive Congress (APC), Chief Henry Ajomale, made it known in an interview with him that, Nigerians should be grateful to president Buhari as he has done what most government will have done for 5 years within 2 years.
In response to people's complain, saying the party has not fulfilled their electoral promise, he said,
Relating Nigeria to other countries like America, he said America once went through recession so we won't be the only country to go through that. They once had a collapse economy, which they are out of now.
According to him:
"For Christ’s sake, we should understand
that at the time APC came out to contest
election, there was so much information
rolled out by former Minister of Finance,
Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala that Nigeria’s
economy is buoyant.
We were not there to inspect the books.
So, it is only the information that we
heard from the Minister of Finance and
the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) that
we believed".
He further added that, they found an empty treasury, and there is need for recession to occur which we are almost getting out of.
Moreover, if not for Buhari, Nigeria would have gone bankrupt by now as the PDP's reign looted lot of money they would have covered up if they won again.
Citizens should be grateful that security is in place,
hospitals and roads are now taking
new look, transportation has improved,
the railway that was abandoned for
many year is coming up.
We should therefore pray for quick recovery for our president, as he works toward getting us to the position we are supposed to be.
