EPISODE 4: My Love Is On Fire

Its being four days now since Lawrence left, I never ceased to forget him in my prayers, you sure do know I want him to get the job. The sound of my phone ringing woke me. It was Lawrence, I told him how I thought about him all through the night, of cause it was him I dreamt of.
Lawrence further told me that, the screening process will be over the next day. I was happy as I can't wait to see him. "I love you" Lawrence said. "I love you more" I replied.

After a long day at work, I was so stressed out. Kimmie should be back home, I thought.
Kimmie was not home as expected so I dashed into the kitchen to prepare something for us to eat, thinking she would soon be back but she didn't show up.
I started getting worried, I tried her number but to no avail.

Unidentified man pays N42m tithe to a local church in Benue

A man whose identity has been shielded by a local church in Makurdi, has shocked church members with a tithe offering of N42 million. Investigations by the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in Makurdi revealed that the money was paid into the UBA account of the NKST Church High level Makurdi Although the resident pastor of the church, Dr. Frederick Ikyaan, initially denied knowledge of such offering, a copy of the church’s quarterly financial report, covering the months of January – March, confirmed the payment of N42million tithe to the church. The report showed that the lodgement was the highest single offering from an individual for the quarter. The money was paid into the church’s account in January. The breakdown of the church’s financial report showed an income of N56.2 million and an expenditure of N33.7 million within the same period.. Tragedy as gunmen shot dead a man

In Kaduna state, some gunmen were suspected to have killed a man named, Christopher Joseph, aged 27 years old. The deceased body was said to have been found in Abuja-Kaduna expressway, having his hands and legs tied down. An interview with the deceased father shows that he spoke with his son last on 25th of March. He added that, they had no quarrel what so ever during their conversation. He further said, he didn't know that would be the last time he would converse with his son. Late Christopher was said to have been seeking for admission into the Ahmadu Bello Institution. (ABU). Before his death, he was into commercial motorcycle job. When the police station was visited by his family members, they informed them about what happened. Breaking: Angry mob scatters Senator Adeleke's Burial

An angry mob has reportedly disrupt the burial of Senator Isiaka Adeleke which is currently ongoing today, April 24, in Osun state. The mob reportedly collapsed a canopy on Amosun, Akeredolu, Oyinlola to chase out Idiat Babalola, who is a commissioner nominee of Governor Rauf Aregbesola. The death on Adeleke, was formally anounced, who is also a former governor of Osun state on Sunday, April 24. Babalola and other dignitaries were chased out by the youths who alleged that the former governor was poisoned by some APC leaders. The group alleged that Adeleke was poisoned by some APC chieftains. Problem started when Babalola was sighted by the mourners who demanded that she should be sent out. Prior to the recent protest by the students of Ladoke Akuntola University of Technology(LAUTECH), Ogbomoso, the Osun state governor, Mr Rauf Aregbesola made it known on Friday night that, his administration was financially incapacitated to handle the challenges of funding bedevilling the institution. He described baseless and untrue insinuation in some quarters that he was not interested and committed to the survival and effective funding of the university, which is jointly owned by  the Oyo and Osun State. Gowon expresses disappointment over Nigeria's disunity

Former head of state, Yakubu Gowon, has expressed regret over the crises going on in some parts of the country saying he had prayed the country would be united after the Biafra civil war. Gowon was head of state when the country engaged in a civil war between 1967 and 1970 and said he had hoped the country would be more united.
