JUST IN: Governor Wike sacks commissioner of works.

The river state governor, Nyesom Wike
has reportedly sacked his Commissioner of Works, Mr
Bathuel Harrison with immediate effect.

According to the statement in a press released by the media aide on
electronics to the governor , Mr Simeon
Nwakaudu, it reads:

“Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Ezenwo Wike
has relieved the State Commissioner of Works,
Mr Bathuel Harrison of his appointment with
immediate effect.
The former commissioner has been directed to
hand over to the Permanent Secretary,
Ministry of Works”.

Meanwhile, report has it that, this is the second Commissioner of Works ever since the
governor came on board.

In addition, Mr Nwakaudu in his statement did
not give any reason for the sack of the commissioner.
