REPORTER : Good Day. Can we meet you ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : My name is Adesina Ademola Oluwatobi. A 200 level student of Linguistics and Communication Studies Students’ Association (LINCSSA).
REPORTER : Which post are you aspiring for in the upcoming election ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : I’m aspiring for the post of the Faculty Vice-President.
REPORTER : What motivated you to aspire for this post ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Actually, I’ve always had this flair for politics since my childhood and I’ve been pressing further on it. I believe I can always make impact in my environment by participating in Leadership activities.
REPORTER : What has been your impact on this Campus, since you gained admission ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Well, during my 100 level days, I was appointed as the Class Rep, I then contested for the post of the Faculty P.R.O 2 and my primary duty was to disseminate information
REPORTER : Why do you think that you deserve to be in this position ?
TOBI ADEMOLA :I think I deserve to be in this position because if I’m elected to serve this great Faculty, I’ll impact the Faculty at large and I’m more concerned with the welfarism and development of the students in all aspect.
REPORTER : What is your major aim and objective when if you eventually become the Vice-President ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Well, my major aim it to move the Faculty to a greater height, from where my Predecessor will stop.
REPORTER : Who can you refer to be your best Vice-President on Campus ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Actually, when I gained admission into this school, I met Phyasco who was the then Vice President during Comrade Tobi’s administration. He was very active befort he left for Togo. The current Vice-President, Comrade Korede, who is more like a male in female clothing is very hardworking and active Vice-President. She has been a source of inspiration to me.
REPORTER : What are those things you’re willing to sacrifice if you eventually emerge as the V.P ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : First and foremost, I’m willing to sacrifice my time, my money, and every other thing that humanities may demand from me.
REPORTER : What are the major roles of the Vice-President ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : The major roles of the Vice-President are to assist the President on every occasion and cover up for the President in his absence. Meanwhile, the Personal role of the Vice-President is to conduct academic activities that are of benefits to the students such as organizing tutorials, debate and quiz competitions, seminars, public talk and other academic events that will help to develop the students in their studies.
REPORTER : What are the major challenges that you are expecting when you emerge as the Vice-President and how do you plan to tackle them ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Well, the major challenges I might be seeing is basically on my area of effectiveness, judging from the fact that the Office of the P.R.O which I was in this administration was less effective and being the P.R.O 2, I still made attempt to make my rank more effective. However, If I’m given the chance to be the Vice-President, I’ll make up for all the shortcomings.
REPORTER : What do you have to tell the students before the election ?
TOBI ADEMOLA : Well, what I have to tell my students and colleagues is that they should vote in the right person, in order to ensure peace, unity and progress for a better FAHSA. I’m also urging them to come out and exercise their voting rights.
