BREAKING: Yoruba author, Adebayo Faleti is dead!

A very popular Yoruba author and an Ace broadcaster, Adebayo
Faleti , is reported dead.
Adebayo died in his home yesterday, 22nd of July, in
Ibadan, and he aged 86.

According to his son, Adeniyi, he made it known that, his father died while he was helping him with his bath.
He further stated that, his father observed
the early morning devotion with the family members when he rose up in the morning after which he told them that he prayed to
God to send someone else to continue
his mission as he was tired and
longing for home .

Meanwhile, after the morning devotion, the son said he helped
him to the bathroom as usual
when he said he wanted God to send
someone else to come and complete his
work because he had done all he could
do. He also said that he wanted to go
home. Suddenly, adeniyi reported that, he noticed he was
not breathing again.
Moreover, Adebayo Faleti was taken to UCH in Ibadan where he was confirmed dead.
According to Adeniyi:

“ We took him to the University College Hospital, Ibadan, where he was
confirmed dead . We shall miss him greatly".

Adebayo Faleti was a poet, journalist, writer and actor. He is also known as a Yoruba translator, a broadcaster, TV exponent and a pioneer of the first television station in Africa, Western Nigeria Television (WNTV).

May his soul rest in perfect peace.
