Call on Government To Improve Working environment as about 15,000 doctors deserts Nigeria

Research shows that, not less than 15,000 medical practitioners have traveled out of the country to get better paying jobs. Some to study, some to further and others to work.

Adding to this, Dr. Mike Ogirima,
President of the Nigerian Medical Association
(NMA), summon that, over 10,000 to 15,000 doctors leaves the country to work outside the country.
Is it therefore a pity that Nigeria has trained these doctors while they make use of what they have learnt by working for other countries.
A very good reason is the in conducive working platform for doctors in our country.
Other reason that could be responsible for this is, when doctors write some exams without passing for a long period of time, frustration sets in and they look for better offers.
Moreover, looking at the doctor-patient ratio in Nigeria we have
one doctor to 4,250 patients, which is far below
the World Health Organisation (WHO),
recommended one doctor to not more than 600
patients.
To shed more light, Dr. Adeyeye Arigbabuwo,
immediate past chairman, Association of General
Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria
(AGPMPN), Lagos State Chapter said some
countries have achieved better doctor-patient
ratio than Nigeria:
“Cuba has the best doctor to patient ratio, as it shows
one doctor to 170 patients.
United States  has
one doctor to 390 patients.
Australia, on the other hand has one doctor to 400 patients.
Nigeria's ratio should be checked upon for better effectiveness.
Statistics shows that, most doctors leaves the country for the US, which seems to have better offer for them.
The government are therefore called upon to provide the necessary amenities for medical practitioners to do their work better and also lessen if not erase migration of Nigeria doctors to other countries.

"I will kill uncountable souls if Evans is killed" upcoming artiste tells government.

An upcoming music artiste known as T Shine Sisi Eko, as on thursday, 22nd of June, said he will embark on a killing spree if the arrested notorious kidnapper, Chukwudumeje Onwuamadike alias Evans, was sentenced to death. This was made known  in a rant on Facebook, as he was reacting to the signing into law of the death sentence for kidnappers by the Lagos State Governor, Akinwunmi Ambode. In a post that has gone viral on different social media platforms, the Enugu-state born self-acclaimed artiste said although he does not know Evans personally, he just does not want him dead either. Tragedy as gunmen shot dead a man

In Kaduna state, some gunmen were suspected to have killed a man named, Christopher Joseph, aged 27 years old. The deceased body was said to have been found in Abuja-Kaduna expressway, having his hands and legs tied down. An interview with the deceased father shows that he spoke with his son last on 25th of March. He added that, they had no quarrel what so ever during their conversation. He further said, he didn't know that would be the last time he would converse with his son. Late Christopher was said to have been seeking for admission into the Ahmadu Bello Institution. (ABU). Man brutalizes daughter for going to neighbor's house to watch TV (photos)

A young girl identified simply as Esther, has been beaten mercilessly by her father because she went into a neighbour's room to watch television in Ibadan, Oyo state. According to Olagunju Adekunle who posted the brutalized picture of the young girl on Facebook, when the man was questioned as to why he beat up his daughter that way, his reasons were so disheartening. Angry wife chop off unfaithful husband's penis as she kills herself with pesticide!

Report shows that, an angry housewife has chopped off her unfaithful husband's penis and then drank pesticide which resulted into her death. The deceased, Kawinnart Saezong, 33, was declared dead on Monday at a hospital in Phayao province. Narin Cherdyoo, a Phayao police officer reported. This awful incident happened in northern Thailand. The late wife chopped off her 38- year-old husband’s penis while he was asleep early Saturday, after she learned of his multiple infidelities, the police reported. Meanwhile, her husband, Niran Saewang, survived the attack. He was later transferred from Phayao to Lampang hospital, which is a three-hour drive, and had his penis reattached, one of the hospital staff said.
